LATAM Resilience Awards
The annual awards that recognize, thank and promote the work of the people and institutions driving organizational resilience, business continuity and risk management across Latin America.
Recognizing those who make the region more resilient
The LATAM Resilience Awards (LRA) were created by SCP Resiliencia (Capresiliencia), as Organizing Committee, to recognize and promote the work of men, women and institutions in favor of organizational resilience. They have been awarded every year since 2021.
With these awards we seek to encourage reflection on managing disruptive events, showcase the solutions organizations design and apply, and inspire the professional community to keep preparing to anticipate major change and overcome it. Winners receive a commemorative trophy, a recognition letter and coverage across Resiliencia LATAM's channels, and may use the “LATAM Resilience Awards Winner — LRAW” seal.

Congratulations to the professionals recognized for their leadership and track record in the region's resilience.

The Resilience Career award was a special recognition of the 2026 edition.
Four awards, four profiles
Each year the jury recognizes the most outstanding professionals in four categories. These are the profiles we look for:
Business Continuity Manager of the Year
An outstanding professional acting as manager or lead of business continuity in a public or private organization, with a clear, proven and successful track record recognized by peers.
Business Continuity Newcomer of the Year
A professional who stands out within their first 18 months in business continuity, with clear, demonstrated commitment and the backing of their organization.
Risk Manager of the Year
An outstanding professional acting as manager or lead of risk management, with a clear, proven and successful track record that reaches beyond their own organization.
Resilience Personality of the Year
A reference in one or more disciplines of organizational and operational resilience: a passionate advocate of resilience, recognized nationally and internationally.
See the full requirements for each category in the official rules.
How the winners are chosen
Winners are chosen by a Jury appointed by the Organizing Committee, the sole qualifying authority whose decision is final. The process is designed to ensure objectivity and transparency.
Nominations. Candidate files are received per category.
Evaluation. Each jury member reviews the files against defined criteria (April–May).
Finalists. The jury selects three finalists per category and, if needed, runs additional research.
Public vote. An online vote opens at latamawards.com, counting as one additional jury vote.
Selection. Winners are chosen by majority vote in the jury's final session.
Announcement. Results are announced at the close of the Resiliencia LATAM Congress, with trophy and letter.
